Mr. Lemasson is a bilingual Professional Engineer a graduate of the Kellogg-Schulich Executive MBA program and has nearly 30 years of experience in mining construction and operations within Canada, the United States and South America. Throughout his career, Mr. Lemasson has been responsible for the design, construction, implementation, management and supervision of multiple aspects of both open-pit and underground gold mining operations
From 2009 to 2012, Mr. Lemasson served as President, Chief Operating Officer and Director of Guyana Goldfields, where, as a key member of the leadership team, he was directly involved in the strategic direction of transitioning from an exploration company to a developer, moving a major core gold asset, the Aurora Gold Mine, from an early resource-estimation stage to the pre-development phase, through the processes of advanced exploration, resource estimations, preliminary economic assessment and feasibility study.
From 2006 to 2009, Mr. Lemasson was Goldcorp’s General Manager of Projects for Canada and the United States and was specifically responsible for its subsidiary, Les Mines Opinaca’s, Éléonore Project, located in James Bay, Northern Quebec. In his capacity as General Manager, he was responsible for all project management activities at Éléonore, including administration, logistics, human resources, community affairs, project exploration, environmental permitting, general management, corporate relations, and the scoping and pre-feasibility studies for the project, particularly as they related to geology, mining and processing, infrastructure and economic analysis.
Previously (2000-2006), Mr. Lemasson held the position of Mine General Manager at Goldcorp’s Red Lake operations, where he was largely responsible for production growth to 600,000 ounces per year through the development of the mine’s high-grade zone.
Prior to Goldcorp, Mr. Lemasson was Project Construction manager with Merit Consultants International, where he oversaw engineering and construction of the commissioning of Goldcorp’s Red Lake Mine in Northern Ontario.- close this window -
Mr. Vitton is former Executive Managing Director, Head, US Equity Sales, Bank of Montreal Capital Markets (BMO Capital Markets). As BMO’s Head of US Equity Sales, he originated and placed some US $200 billion through public and secondary offerings and M&A transactions until his departure from BMO in 2009. Prior to BMO, Mike was engaged as Managing Director, Burns Fry Ltd., between June 1984 and June 1994.
Mr. Vitton, through Burns Fry Ltd and BMO Capital Markets, has acted as lead/co-lead underwriter or in a M&A capacity in some of the most important deals in the metal resource sector including: African Platinum Mines, Arequipa Resources, Bema Gold, Comaplex Resources, Diamond Fields Resources, Detour Gold, Dickinson Gold Mines, Echo Bay Mines, FMC Gold(Meridian Resources), Francisco Gold, Franco Nevada, Gammon Gold, Getchell Gold, Golden Shamrock, Guinor Gold, Hemlo Gold, Ivanhoe Mines, Meridian Gold, MexGold Resources, Minefinders, Moto Goldmines, Osisko Mining, Peru Copper, Wheaton River (Goldcorp), Randgold, Semafo, Sino Gold, TVX Gold, Uramin Resources, Urasia Resources, Yamana Resources and many others.
Mike was also the co-founder and former director of MMX Mineracao e Metalicos SA (Brazil) and LLX Logistica SA (Brazil). MMX sold Minas Rio and Amapa assets to Anglo American Corporation for US $5.5 billion in cash in December 2008, returning US $8.8 billion in cash or stock distributions to MMX IPO shareholders, offering six times return from IPO after only two years.

Stephen McGibbon is a Professional Geologist with extensive exploration, mine production and senior management experience. He graduated from Queen’s University at Kingston, in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Sciences. From 1994 until 2006, Stephen served as both Chief Geologist and Exploration Manager for Goldcorp Inc., at its flagship Red Lake Mine operation.
Stephen was a senior member of the team that discovered the “High Grade Zone”, one of the most important gold discoveries of the last 20 years.In his capacity as Chief Geologist and Exploration Manager, Stephen lead a talented team of geologists that helped transform the marginal, high-cost operation into an unparalleled and historic mining success.
Stephen has established a very successful track record at Premier Gold Mines Limited since 2006 that includes revitalizing the historic Geraldton mining camp with a new discovery that today exceeds 7 million ounces of gold. Premier has enjoyed a nearly ten-fold increase in its market capitalization as a result.
Mr. Little is currently President and CEO of Orezone Gold Corporation, a company focused on the exploration and development of the Bomboré Gold Project in Burkina Faso. Ron was Founder, President and CEO of Orezone Resources Inc. (1995-2009) that delineated, developed, permitted and arranged a $330M debt facility for Essakane, the largest gold mine in Burkina Faso that was subsequently taken over by Iamgold Corp. (2009) in a deal worth $350M. Orezone Gold Corporation was created as a spin-out of that transaction in order to develop Bomboré. Orezone has the most successful discovery track record in Burkina Faso with over 12Moz to its credit.
Prior to Orezone, Mr. Little was influential in the success of several exploration and development companies and projects including the Golden Patricia Mine near Red Lake, Ontario. Golden Patricia was a high-grade narrow vein underground gold deposit that operated at a head grade of 20 g/t. Anthony (Tony) Makuch is currently President & CEO of Kirkland Lake Gold Inc and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (Honours Applied Earth Sciences) from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, and both a Masters of Science Degree in Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration from Queen´s University in Ontario. He is a professional engineer (Ontario) with over 35 years of management, operations and technical experience in the mining industry, having managed numerous projects in Canada and the United States from advanced exploration through production.
Prior to joining Kirkland Lake Gold, Mr. Makuch was President and CEO at Lake Shore Gold Inc., from 2008 until its acquisition by Tahoe Resources on April 1, 2016, where he became the Executive Vice-President and President of Canadian Operations. Between January 2006 and March 1, 2008, Mr. Makuch was Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for FNX Mining Company Inc. From 1998 to December 2005 he held progressively senior positions with Dynatec Corporation, including VP, Operations. From 1992 to 1998, Mr. Makuch worked with Kinross Gold Corporation at a number of their North American operations; which included his role as General Manager of the Kirkland Lake Operations at the Macassa Mine and Timmins Operations - Hoyle Pond Mine.- close this window -
